Construction of Harmonized Farming and Dwelling Towns
JA Group is promoting gHarmonized Farming and Dwelling Town Construction.h This is to face up with and solve many problems arising from sprawling urban developments in what used to be predominantly farming communities, where agricultural fields and dwelling sites have come to be mixed up to the detriment of both farming activities and residential environment. JA Group is promoting consensus building among land possessing farm households to construct dwelling houses in harmonious ways with a view to building a community in which dwelling of incoming citizens and agriculture could coexist side by side through planned mapping of farming and dwelling areas.
Housing site developments went rampant during the years of high economic growth. That was particularly true of agricultural lands in eurbanizing zonesf of big cities, when much of the lands had to be sold in piecemeal fashion to pay for the heavy burden of inheritance tax as the need arose. Agricultural lands were, as if, eaten up here and there by insect worms, resulting in the mix up of farming area and housing sites which brought about problems like farm plots being kept from sunshine and crop growth affected.
In order to solve such problems, JA Group has been promoting gthe Harmonized Farming and Dwelling Town Construction Project,h which would draw a line between farming and living zones based on consensus among farm households and holders of title to lands, and prepare plots according to use purposes. Through the projects, it has become possible to provide a dwelling environment featuring much greens in and around the area while, at the same time, fresh vegetables just picked out of soil could be supplied to local inhabitants.
JA Group is, in this way, promoting construction of towns in a planned manner, in collaboration with municipal government and others.
